I’m in my thirties and I play guitar. I just got a 61 key electronic keyboard for the holidays. I need suggestions for good beginning piano books appropriate for my age. The book stores and Amazon have nothing. I guess that I need to go to a community college bookstore or something.

Since a child I have always enjoyed music and especially the piano. Money growing up and later school and work, didn’t help much in learning how to play. Now I am in a position that take the time to learn. I would like to try to learn on my own just to get familiar with the keys and then seek an instructor. How difficult is the piano to learn as an adult?
